ImplyFromResourceUrl Method

Attempts to imply a transport profile URI string, given a resource URL of a PubSub connection.

Parameters

resourceUrl: The resource URL of a PubSub connection.
The value of this parameter cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Returns the transport profile URI string implied by the , or an empty string if the implied transport profile cannot be determined.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

Explanation of terms:

Imply means that the outcome can be determined without ambiguity.
Infer is less strict; the outcome may use some default in case of ambiguity.
