SetServerCertificateByteArray Method (UADiscoveryElement)

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Sets the encoded application instance certificate issued to the server.

Parameters

value

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

An invalid casting or explicit conversion has been attempted.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.

Remarks

Intended for certain COM callers. You can simply use the ServerCertificateByteArray property setter in .NET instead.
