The Global Discovery Server (GDS) is part of the OPC UA specification that provides a centralized directory of OPC UA servers and their capabilities. Support for GDS allows an application to register with a GDS, discover OPC UA servers, and manage OPC UA security certificates.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
