ToUAEndpointDescriptor Method (_UAApplicationManifest)

Converts an application element returned by discovery to a OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.UAEndpointDescriptor.

Return Value

Returns an endpoint descriptor that can be used for connecting to the OPC server.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

This member or type is for use from COM. It is not meant to be used from .NET or Python. Refer to the corresponding .NET member or type instead, if you are developing in .NET or Python.

In languages that support implicit conversions (such as C# or VB.NET), in many cases you do not have call this method explicitly. When indicated, a call to an available equivalent implicit conversion operator will be created by the compiler automatically.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
