TryParse Method (IUAQualifiedNameParser)

Expanded text of the qualified name.

The value of this parameter cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

A OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.AddressSpace.UAQualifiedName object. The converted qualified name object.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Converts the string representation of a qualified name to equivalent qualified name object. A return value indicates whether the conversion succeeded.

s
Expanded text of the qualified name.

The value of this parameter cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

qualifiedName
A OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.AddressSpace.UAQualifiedName object. The converted qualified name object.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Returns null if s was converted successfully; otherwise, returns an error object that describes the problem.

This method can return null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

A null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed to a method that does not accept it as a valid argument.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.
