Parse Method (_UANodeIdParser)

Expanded text of the node Id.
Determines whether the node Id must contain a namespace or namespace index.
Parses a string containing an OPC-UA node Id (its expanded text), and returns a corresponding node Id object.

Parameters

s
Expanded text of the node Id.
requireNamespace
Determines whether the node Id must contain a namespace or namespace index.

Return Value

Returns the OPC-UA node Id object parsed from the input value.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

A null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed to a method that does not accept it as a valid argument.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.

The string format of the OPC-UA node ID is incorrect.
