WriteItem Method (IEasyDAClientExtension)

Writes into a named item in an OPC server. Value, quality and timestamp are written.

The server(s) can be local or can be remotely accessed via DCOM.

Optionally, a specific data type can be requested, or an access path can be specified (OPC DA 1.0 only).

Overload	Description
WriteItem(IEasyDAClient,ServerDescriptor,DAItemDescriptor,DAVtq)	Writes DAVtq into a named item using descriptor objects for the OPC server and OPC-DA item.
WriteItem(IEasyDAClient,String,String,String,DAVtq,VarType)	Writes DAVtq into a named item using individual parameters specifying its location, and a specific data type.
WriteItem(IEasyDAClient,String,String,String,DAVtq)	Writes DAVtq into a named item using individual parameters specifying its location, and using server's canonical data type.
WriteItem(IEasyDAClient,String,String,String,Object,DateTime,DAQuality,VarType)	Writes separately given value, timestamp and quality into a named item using individual parameters specifying its location, and a specific data type.
WriteItem(IEasyDAClient,String,String,String,Object,DateTime,DAQuality)	Writes separately given value, timestamp and quality into a named item using individual parameters specifying its location, and using server's canonical data type.
