The unique identifier for this item.

Property Value

This value of this property can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The default value of this property is null.

Remarks

If the IsLeaf is True and ItemID is an empty string, then this element is a “hint” versus being a valid item. The OpcLabs.EasyOpc.NodeElement.Name property contains the hint text. If the value is a null reference, then the server has failed provide the item ID.
