ShouldSerializeMaximumExpirationDate Method

Determines whether the MaximumExpirationDate property is equal to its default value.

Return Value

true if the property has changed from its default value; false otherwise.
Remarks

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.

Despite its name, this method (commonly used in conjunction with the Reset<PropertyName> method) is not only used for serialization purposes. In essence, it determines whether the property currently has its default value, which also affects whether and how it is presented (displayed) in various contexts.
