Property Value

The default value of this property is True.

This property is used by following client implementations:

• Native client: yes,
• NET API client: no.

When set, a non-null COAUTHINFO will be specified in the COSERVERINFO.pAuthInfo member passed as the pServerInfo parameter to the CoCreateInstanceEx. See COSERVERINFO structure (objidl.h).

When combined with other parameters using the OpcLabs.BaseLib.Runtime.InteropServices.Extensions.ComInstantiationParametersExtension.OverrideBy method, the result is obtained by performing a logical AND of the values.

This member or type is for use from COM. It is not meant to be used from .NET or Python. Refer to the corresponding .NET member or type instead, if you are developing in .NET or Python.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
