Parameters

resourceDescriptor1

First object to be compared.

Because the ResourceDescriptor has implicit conversions from System.String and System.Uri, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a string (usually representing the resource URL), or a System.Uri object, in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource descriptor will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the FromString or FromUri static method instead.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

resourceDescriptor2

Second object to be compared.

Because the ResourceDescriptor has implicit conversions from System.String and System.Uri, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a string (usually representing the resource URL), or a System.Uri object, in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource descriptor will be constructed automatically. Return Value

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
