Equals(Object) Method

Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object.Determines whether the specified System.Object is equal to the current object. Determines whether this object is equal to the other.

Parameters

other: The other object to be tested for equality with this one.

Return Value

true if the specified object is equal to the current object; otherwise, false.true if the specified object is equal to the current object; otherwise, false.Returns true if the objects are equal; otherwise, returns false.

Remarks

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
